We kayaked with Teresa on the Wambaw 3 hour creek tour. Excellent trip and Teresa was a fabulous guide. She shared a lot of nature/animal information and she was very personable with the ability to chat easily with everyone. It started pouring rain half-way thru the trip and she was very calm and even sang a song to make us laugh and relax. I highly recommend her.

We had an absolutely fabulous time on our kayak tour! The guides are wonderful, provide lots of instruction for anyone unfamiliar with kayaking, and all of the information they share on the tour is super interesting. We loved spotting some dolphins! Ethan, our tour guide, was awesome and even gave us suggestions on where to eat in the area. Highly recommend!

The knowledge of our tour guide (Dan) was much more than I expected. From what our guide told us all of the guides are very knowledgeable about all the local wildlife and the area we were kayaking. The people working here were extremely friendly and the whole experience was a highlight.

We went on a Blackwater creek tour with guide Teresa today. She was fabulous! Incredibly knowledgeable about the creek. We learned so much, saw owls, great Cypress trees, small alligators. None of us had ever kayaked before, and she was a terrific teacher as to how to handle the equipment. Our eight and ten year old enjoyed it immensely. We all wished we would have booked for a longer trip, and would highly recommend Teresa as a guide. The whole company from start to finish were great to deal with. Thanks for the memory!

I bring Military groups here for paddle boarding and kayak tours. The staff is always so kind and energetic, always making my groups feel welcomed! The military groups always come back ecstatic to tell me they went back with their family to board/kayak when visiting. So relieved they are comfortable with this company while being here during their duty station in Charleston. Thank you, NAO!

We went on an amazing kayak adventure, complete with tons of dolphin sightings! Our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and great with the kids! One of our favorite things we did on our vacation! Highly recommend!

Had a great time. Matt was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I would do it again and request Matt as the guide. This is a must do in the area.

Amazing experience!! Charlie was a great tour guide explaining the history to us!! We even saw many dolphins which made the experience even better :) and even got to stop to take many photos and videos on the trip!!

Did the 2 hour eco tour and learned about the marshes and all the birds and sea life that inhabit them. Fun paddle out to the island with all the pelicans, plovers and seagulls. It was a beautiful day and had a great time. Highlight was having the dolphins swim around the kayaks in the creek area. Highly recommend!

Best place to go kayaking I'd highly recommend taking a tour.

There were 17 of us. The staff took the time to acquaint us all to our own comfort level. When we put in the water it was pouring down rain but it soon stopped. We had the boards for 3 hours and this was the right amount of time. There were dolphins everywhere! On our return, a family (a mom, dad, & baby) joined us! They played around our boards, putting on a very good show, for about 40 minutes. We were the ones that had to leave, not the dolphins! I would certainly recommend this and I would do it again!

My nephew and his wife were visiting me from MI. Charlie was our tour guide and he shared so many fun , fascinating and historical facts about Shem Creek and Cran Island. It will always be a great memory for us all thinking back on the beautiful weather, calm waters full of Dolohins surrounding us and great conversations.

We had an amazing time on Shem Creek! Our tour guide, Charlie, was fantastic! He had a wonderful sense of humor, a great disposition, and really made the day special. He also shared so much interesting information about the area, which made the trip even more enjoyable. It was such a fun day with friends!

We absolutely enjoyed everything about our experience!! We missed the deadline for booking and Dana was so kind as to find us a slot that would accommodate all 6 of us. We then had a cancellation of 1 in our group last minute and the guide was amazing enough to share a kayak with our daughter. The whole experience all the way around was amazing and we all enjoyed and will definitely use again and try out some of the other adventures they have to offer.

Perfect Weather, Great Equipment, Knowledgeable & PERSONABLE GUIDE! If you’ve ever rented a canoe, kayak or other water vessel, the life jacket is part of the gig. THANKFULLY, these life jackets didn’t have the customary raunchy odor as has been my experience in the past when renting other places. Two hours went by so quickly. Charlie, our guide was GREAT at answering me rifling questions at him! I highly recommend this business.

easy to book and check in. It was my first time kayaking and by the end I was so comfortable. The two hour tour was perfect. We ended up seeing a dolphin the last 10 minutes! Our guide, Jay, gave us just enough information about what we were seeing throughout the creek but also gave us lots of chances to enjoy the peace and quiet and our surroundings. Very cool experience.
