Unfortunately, we did not have such a great experience. We are still in the process of trying to get it fixed, but waiting to hear back from the company. My daughter and her friend arrived to go paddle boarding. They insisted that they had a phone with them on the water so my daughter had to buy a bag that they sold there. It was a chain connected to a bag and you put the phone inside and then you wear it around your neck. 10 minutes into the paddle boarding, the chain broke and my daughters brand new iPhone fell into the water and sunk to the bottom of Shem Creek. She did not even want to bring her phone with her and asked if she could keep it in the car and they said that she had to have it with her. The chain came unfastened from the bag which caused it to fall off of her neck and sink. Nature adventures told her that she signed a waiver, and it was not their fault and there was nothing they can do. My husband spoke to Katherine and Elisabeth, who were both very nice, and we are waiting to hear back. They seem to blame it on the company who made the bags. Obviously, that is not our fault or our problem . IsnĂąâŹâąt that why companies have insurance? Between the paddle boarding, Buying the bag and the cost of the iPhone, it was a $1300 three hours!!! We are still waiting to hear back from them to hear what they can do. Hopefully they will do the right thing and I can adjust and change this review.
