Fun time. Good friendly service also

This review is way overdue. During a visit in August 2020, I called Nature Adventures asking to book a tour. Due to Covid restrictions, tours weren't available, however the young man I spoke to was incredibly helpful and kind, I decided to rent a canoe and go off on my own. I arrived a little early and the two young men on duty, I believe their names were John and Christian were SO helpful and kind (I know, I should have written this months ago when my memory was fresh). I had a wonderful day on the water, and it was all due to the friendly and knowledgeable suggestions from these young men. Don't miss the opportunity to paddle out to the bird sanctuary, and surrounding creek branches. I was able to get up close to many bird species, dolphins were yards away and I had a close encounter with a large silver and green fish jumping over my bow. I am buying a go-pro for my next visit to Nature Adventures.

Kayaked with them for the 1st time and had a great time. Everyone was very nice and knowledgable. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing time out on Shem with Nature Adventures. They were able to hold onto our valuables and allowed my dog to join at no additional cost. Very easy to work with. Will absolutely be doing this again!

Great experience

This was the most convenient to the Shem Creek Boardwalk and EVERY SINGLE person working there gave the best service! The price was affordable and reasonable. They were great with my 5 year old. I’m horrible with names, but one gentleman who launched us off the ramp and made sure our life jackets fit was incredible with kids and he really made it all the more exciting for my little one. I will use Nature Adventures every time from now on and we even got some dolphin sightings in up close and personal! Thank you for making this spur of the moment experience one for the books! The staff is incredible!

Friendly staff & a great location for kayaking!

Team members were very pleasant and helpful. All gear was in good condition. Staff was informative for the first time kayakers in our group. We saw two dolphins and plenty of wildlife during our trip. They gave our 9 year old a “wildlife scavenger hunt” to help identify different birds and aquatic species. Shem creek was busy but all boaters were respectful of being on a kayak. Free parking is available but if full, paid parking was plentiful and fairly priced. Would use nature adventure again for our next kayaking trip.

Wow, all I can say is WOW!!!! From start to finish my family and I were blown away. Kind (and hilarious) staff members were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We saw dolphins and pelicans and every creature you can think of!!!!! We are already planning our next booking with Nature Adventures. THANKS 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 !!!!!!!!!!

I stopped here with only an hour or so to spare and the girls were great! They only charged me $25 for 2hrs, so very good value for money! I was very quickly sorted with a board and paddle, given a quick brief and shown the various routes on a map. Having SUP’d before, they didn’t waste my time and I was quickly on my way! Point to note, there are only the public toilets in Shem Creek Park (in the car park), I don’t believe there were shower facilities-but could be wrong! I would definitely hire with this company again!

We had an amazing time at Nature Adventure! It was a highlight of our trip and gave our whole family memories we’ll treasure.

Had a great time! Nice staff.

We had multiple encounters with dolphins in the waterway to the inlet. A fisherman then reeled up a 4 ft shark and released it from the dock. The pelicans, cranes and birds were also cool! Great experience with two teenage boys, as a family adventure we will be talking about for years to come.

This outfit is well run and all of the workers were easy to interact with, supportive and knew their jobs. The location is fabulous for a truly wonderful experience of nature and relaxation.

Wonderful experience! The staff was great; they took care of us right away and clearly explained all the instructions. We rented two tandem kayaks and first paddled to an island, then explored the marshes. We even saw dolphins; it was just amazing! Highly recommend!

BEST THING EVER!
