Our 2 hr Full Moon Shem Creek Tour was wonderful. We saw an amazing sunset and a beautiful moon rise. The guide was very knowledgeable about the area and was full of interesting wildlife facts. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately there was a really high tide the day we rented SUPs, but we absolutely loved our guide, Kent. Cute area with several bars/restaurants within walking distance. VERY reasonably priced. Recommend happy hour at the Shem Creek Inn.

It was just our group so we ended up with a private tour with Charlie! Waters were a little choppy so he was prepared with a plan to take us out into some quieter back creeks which were very cute and a lot more comfortable than fighting the wind. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about anything we wanted to know about the area! A great day and arm workout lol

The Guides are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. So much information about local wildlife and the ecosystem. They are provided some great tips on other places on Shem Creek to check out when I added a 4 hour rental at a the end of their 2 hour tour. Sticking around was worth it... Got to see dolphins. I would highly recommend booking a tour with these guys.

My daughter took this tour and she had a blast!! She saw so much and was so excited she couldn't get it all out into words. She is 12 and I think this is a great age to explore nature.

this was my first time kayaking & felt good about it but was a little nervous. Our guide was reassuring & I did great! He was very knowledgable about kayaking & the entire area. He was also very friendly & aware of safety at all times. The tour was everything I hoped it would be. We had a very leisurely 2 hour tour. We saw many dolphin, caught a glimpse of a manatee, & tons of beautiful birds. Highly recommend! Ask for Kevin!

We had a great time paddling into the harbor and around Shem Creek. Our guide was knowledgeable about the marsh and the animals that call it home. We saw all kinds of native birds and fiddler crabs. With older kids/teens you could do this paddle without a guide. Great trip!

My husband and I were visiting Charleston and learned of this kayaking tour company. We were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival that it was just us and our tour guide. We took the Charleston River 2 hour tour. I wish I could remember our tour guides name, he was wonderful!

This was a beautiful experience kayaking on Shem Creek. Our guide Charlie was informative, pointing out wildlife, plants, and landmarks throughout the tour while providing insightful historical information. I would highly recommend a kayaking trip to explore Shem Creek-it's also great for beginners!

Matt, our guide was awesome! He not only knew marine biology, birds of the area and history of Sullivan Island he also is able to share history of the greater Charleston area. He gave us options for our kayaking tour and because he was flexible he also extended the time with us. We were into looking for shark's teeth on the island he brought us to and he never pressured us about moving on to the next thing and helped us understand the different teeth we were finding in other fossilized objects.. It was a great trip! Larry B

Great experience. Ethan was our guide and was very knowledgeable about the area, the water, the birds, the real estate, the shows and movies filmed in the area. It was more relaxing than I imagined it to be. Highly recommend.

Tillman and his colleague sure made this a fun 3-hour paddle up and down the Swamp at Wambah. I am an experienced river paddler but this was just a great trip. We were there under tropical storm warnings but everyone showed up- got sprinkled on a bit but that just added to the adventure. Learned a lot from both guides!!

Dan gave a delightful and informative 3-hour tour to my friend and me. He was a wealth of information about the wildlife in the area, and a charming guide - highly recommend him. The equipment was good/sturdy and seemed well maintained. The front-office woman was incredibly helpful (and patient) on the phone as we had to change our arrangements a few times before we arrived in SC. Dan and our kayaks were ready to go as soon as we arrived, and the tour lasted a little longer than 3 hours, so we definitely got our money's worth. One small but important detail: Nature Adventures sells (under $10) a waterproof, resealable sleeve/bag that goes around your neck, to hold your phone. it's see-through, so you can safely take pictures while kayaking, with confidence you won't get water on your phone. I was able to relax on the tour because my phone was with me, but wasn't likely to get wet.

I was new to the group, and invited by a friend of the Meet-up kayakers. Loved it! Great trip, plenty of help for a new paddler. Nature Adventures is a great way to get out and do something new and wonderful. Will join them again ASAP Lisa

Something different from plantations, museums and food. A chance to see wildlife, including dolphins up close. Helpful, easy to use website. Great staff and a wonderful guided paddle from Cindy. Out of Shem Creek and into the harbor. Just 20 minutes from downtown Charleston. Anyone can get in a kayak. Do it.

My husband surprised me with a kayak tour and we were not disappointed! We have lived in Charleston almost a year and learned so much into on the tour with Ben! Excellent tour and guide , definitely recommend if you’ve visiting or even a local!

Such a fun afternoon on the water with my son! Alex was a great guide and made the whole experience relaxing and fun. Dolphin sightings aplenty too!
