Great kayak trip! Beautiful sunset! Awesome guide! This was a great way to enjoy the Charleston outdoors.

Great trip with Nature Adventures to Crab Bank. Our guides were helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone found shark teeth and enjoyed looking for shells as well.

Great experience! We did the self guided tour. This was the best part of our trip! We saw dolphins, tons of wildlife, went under the giant oak. So so beautiful. They gave us great direction on areas to go and made us comfortable. Highly recommend. Location was super easy as well.

This was my first time to kayak. Rob, our guide was descriptive and covered all the need to knows before kayaking. He was very patient and encouraging with my kayaking. The group I was with was also super nice and did not mind my boat hugs. Rob was very knowledgeable about the environment, it’s wildlife, boating and kayaking skills. Very impressive. He divided his time equally to engage all guests in diverse conversations. No one was left out, even the younger kids. By the end of the tour I was confident in my new found skills. Thank you Rob and Nature Adventures for an awesome experience!!

We took the 2 hour kayaking tour on Shem Creek and had a great time. Our guide was Cindy and she was really friendly and knowledgeable about the birds and real estate. It was a nice relaxing ride just listening to her and paddling along. We did see one dolphin, I was hoping to see more, but that wasn’t her fault! We went down Shem Creek and out to a little island where we got out and picked up some shells. She was good about helping us out so we didn’t have to get too wet! Then we went along and looked at the houses and kayaked under their piers. She pointed out lots of interesting things along the way.

We took a three hour morning kayak tour of Shem Creek and Crab Bank Island in October. We had a great time and definitely recommend!

We took the Shem Creek tour and had a wonderful time! Our guide, Bob, was excellent and had a special treat at th end of the tour. The kids loved it!

A fantastic, relaxing and informative couple of hours on the water. Our guide Matt was fun and had great knowledge.

This shop is tiny but has a large number of top quality kayaks right on the water's edge and the price is the best I found. The location is ideal for a paddle and then a lunch at one of the many nearby restaurants. While we did not take a guided tour, the guides were nonetheless helpful in telling us which locations would be good to visit and where you would most likely find wildlife. I would highly recommend Nature Adventure Outfitters for your kayaking experience!

We did a 2 hour tour of shem creek and really loved it. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and gave us some great history of the area and the different wildlife. Will definitely be back!

I was looking for a different venue to kayak that was reasonably close for a quick turn around on Labor Day weekend. With rain forecast.for the mountains I found Nature Adventures Outfitters online and booked the 3 hour tour on Wambaw Creek. I was a little apprehensive of going with a guild & group but it turned out to be a plus. John, our guild, is a semi retired teacher and volunteer for the Nat'l Parks & Forests so he was a wealth of knowledge on the plant & wild life and the history of the surrounding area. Classroom was never so much fun and John is a very humorous and personable person. John, Thank You for making this trip exceed my expectations. Also, the Creek is peaceful and an easy paddle, could of spent more time on the water. Really enjoyed the experience and will be back to explore more.

We went with Ed as a guide kayaking on Shem Creek and would recommend this to everyone!! Ed was knowledgable about the sea life and the history of the region. He took us at a good pace around the creek and to the pelican island--we saw loads of birds, fish and dolphins.

Have used Nature Adventures twice. 1st time paddling by our own and 2nd time together with their guide. Worked well both times. Friendly staff and easy and quick support getting in/out of kayak. Very knowledgeable guide. Good experience and fun activity!

I have done several 2 hr guided kayak tours through Nature Adventures. They have all been fun and very informative. Elizabeth had encyclopedic knowledge of the local birds, plants and history of the area.

They should really get a 10! Ben and Dana are great host! The tour was fun and full of great Low Country knowledge!! I highly recommend!!! Epic!!!

I had an amazing time on the 2-hour kayak tour with Nature Adventures. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the kayaks were in great condition. Paddling through Shem Creek was a delight, with stunning views and wildlife sightings, including dolphins!! Our guide Ethan provided fascinating insights about the local ecosystem. Highly recommend this tour for a fun and educational outdoor experience! It’s an absolute must do while you are in Charleston.

We had scheduled a 2-hour kayak tour and got rained out. The staff were so helpful and nice and were able to reschedule us for the next morning. Our guide, Ethan, was knowledgeable, kind, courteous and professional. He is a Marine Biologist and shared a lot of great information about the ecology of Shem Creek, and the ocean and marshlands. The kayaking itself was very slow as you are trying to stay in a group. We had a great experience, and we saw 4 dolphins during our short kayak trip. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Blane was awesome! He was a wealth of knowledge, pleasant, and is a local so he knows the water inside and out. (Good luck back at school!) The entire tour was exciting and fun. We saw a manatee, sea turtle, dolphins, and tons of birds. Our first try out got cut short because of a storm but Nature Adventure did a great job rescheduling us during our stay and even refunded one boat of our party that was going to be gone. They are excellent with customer care and service.
